Typical plot type, split into three parts. The initial part consists of rising action, a related series of incidents that build towards a point, but also causes conflict for the protagonist. The second part is a tense, emotional climax, and a turning point for the plot. The third part is the falling action, where conflicts are resolved and the reader or viewer is left with a sense of catharsis.
