Vrlo brz, nepravilan srčani ritam koji je uzrokovan abnormalnim implusima koji dolaze iz nekoliko područja srca. Ovi abnormalni impulsi preuzimaju funckiju prirodnog pacemakera od S-A čvora. Srčani ritam je tako brz da srce nema vremena potisnuti dovoljno krvi u mozak i tjelesna tkiva, što može uzrokovati nesvjesticu, srčani arest i smrt.
