Nazca Lines

A series of geoglyphs etched into the ground around areas of Nazca, Peru, circa 400AD. The drawings were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.

The purpose of the lines are unknown, but a popular theory is that the Nazca people made them to try to communicate with their Gods high above the earth. The lines have parts in many conspiracy theories as there are some who believe the shapes to be so geometrically perfect that they must have been created by alien lifeforms with technology far more advanced than the people of the time had access to.
