Bon Iver

Beginning in 2007, Bon Iver is an American band that features front singer-songwriter Justin Vernon. Sean Carey (drums, vocals, piano), Michael Noyce (guitar, vocals), and Matthew McCaughan (drums, bass, vocals) also join Vernon to complete the band. The band name Bon Iver comes from the French phrase bon hiver, which means "good winter".

The band released their debut album in February 2008, titled For Emma, Forever Ago. It reached gold status in Australia and the UK. Their second album, Bon Iver was released on June 21, 2011.
